A Little Boy’s Curiosity

Kids are naturally curious. They tend to investigate everything that catches their attention and awaken their curiosity by getting near it, touching it and sometimes even tasting it. Their being curious to things can be very beneficial to their early learning but it as well be very harmful to them. Just like what this picture below is trying to say; everything that catches a child’s attention and awaken his curiosity is not good.

The little boy in the picture is my little cousin checking on a sea snake that was lying dead on the sand one sunny and bright afternoon.  The family then was camping at the shore just to have some quality time. While the adults were busy chitchatting, this little man went on to conduct his investigating business and it just so happened that a sea snake was on the scene. It was my sister who first noticed what this little man was checking on and everyone was alarmed after knowing it was a snake. I learned from Mr. Wiki that sea snakes are venomous with bites that can cause paralysis and cardiac arrest. It that sea snake happened to be alive, my cousin could have seriously harmed. Thankfully, sea snakes barely survive on land.
